Google has a number of APIs that they have released, these include: Android, Google AJAX Search API, Google Calendar APIs and Tools, Google Checkout API, Google Gadgets API and Google Maps APIs.

Google MAPs
Google Maps APIs allow you to overlay geographical information onto maps and satellite imagery, this gives your user a visual representation of you location data.
You can also allow a user to get direction from one location to another, eg from their house to a property for sale, then from that one to the next one on their list of properties.
