Putting it Together

Hi

The MicroLCD came in 2 parts, the screen and controller in one part and the USB module.

To put the USB module on the MicroLCD you need to pull the LCD off its controller like so.

Here are some close ups of the parts;

After soldering on the USB module I connected it to my computer without the screen, just in case.

Every thing seemed ok, it installed the drivers and i disconnected it so i could connect the screen.

Here is where I ran into trouble, connecting the screen again was easy, getting it aligned so it works took 3 tryes, and I was a little worried when it didn't work.

But as you can see from the following pictures I did finally get it working.

When i get some time i will have some fun with this, my 1st project will be a CPU graph showing what my CPUs are doing :) this should be easy as i have written the code elsewhere and just need to adapt it for this project.
